We would like to remind everyone that Lexington 4 is committed to a healthy school environment. As part of the district’s wellness practices, individual teachers, parents, and students should not provide food, candy, or baked goods to students due to health and safety concerns. Thank you!

  • Hot Summer, Cool Books Sandhills Primary and Sandhills Elementary parents are invited to attend the kick off to "Hot Summer Cool Books" summer reading program On May 21 at 6:00 pm. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn how to keep reading and thinking skills strong over summer vacation.   Please take advantage of the many special learning opportunities offered by these schools.  Every parent attending will receive a free children's book!

  • 2012-2013 SES Teacher of the Year Congratulations to Tricia Zambito the new SES 2012-2013 teacher of the Year.  The Teacher of the Year program celebrates excellence and strengthens the teaching force by honoring and recognizing exceptional teachers at the district level. Below you will find a brief biography of the teacher that  was chosen. Tricia Zambito is originally from Rochester, New York.  She attended Cazenovia College in central New York, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Inclusive Elementary Education.  After graduating from Cazenovia in May of 2009, she moved to the Columbia area, where she began teaching as a special education teacher for third and fourth graders at Sandhills Elementary School in Swansea.  This is currently her third year at SES.
